My name is Mrs. Tara McMillan and I have been blessed to have been a part of our Christ-King Charger family since 2013.
At CKCS, we are very proud and dedicated to our “family” atmosphere within the school. All students are seen as unique individuals who have their own God-given talents that are meant to be nurtured and grown in order to share them to better themselves, the community and the world. Our amazing staff are dedicated to developing a genuine relationship with each child in order to create a safe, caring environment where students feel understood, respected and loved.
As a Catholic school, our Faith permeates all aspects of our school day and students of every faith background are welcome. Included in every school year journey is our parish, Christ King Catholic Church. Under the guidance of Parish priest, staff, students and parents will have many opportunities to grow and learn about our Faith.
As a staff we are focused on providing high quality, curriculum aligned instruction. Our goal is to embrace the best educational practices in order to create stimulating and safe learning environments for all. We will also continue to have high expectations of our students as they develop their critical thinking skills and experience success in school.
At CKCS, we place a high value on our partnerships with parents, families and community. We are strong believers that parents and guardians play an equally important role in every child’s learning experience and help students achieve their full potential.
